Top 5 Must-Have Travel Phone Apps

Travelling -- this is definitely one thing that I will never get tired of. I love exploring new places and taking exciting adventures all by myself or with the ones close to my heart. We all know that going on trips is not an easy thing to do. We need to take care of the transportation to our place of destination, the hotel that we would be staying for the entire duration of the trip, the food that we need to try and most importantly, the culture or tradition of the place that we have to experience. The good news is that there are already several phone applications that make travelling easier and more convenient for everyone. Below is a list of must-download apps so we can have a more relaxed summer trip or adventure:

1. Sky Scanner

This is probably one of the best apps out there that enables users to search low-priced airline tickets, both domestic and international. SkyScanner works its enhancement by comparing the prices of the tickets offered by certain airline companies for a particular flight destination. Users can directly book using the application which can be installed in iOs and Android phones. Within the app are links to travel agents or airlines which will cater to the travelling needs of all the users.

2. TripIt

Having an itinerary is certainly a must when it comes to travelling. One needs to plan ahead of time so that he or she can make the best out of the vacation. TripIt will help users to cut back on travel hassle by consolidating travel plans into a simple and convenient itinerary. If you are the type of traveller who wants every single thing to be organized, then this application is something that you need to download as soon as possible. The best thing of all: This app is for free (but it's ad-supported).

3. PackPoint

Getting a checklist of travel essentials is one thing that you must never forget. If you think that you are too busy to create the checklist, do not fret for PackPoint can do it for you. Just download the app and create a trip profile. Thereafter, input your destination, length of stay and purpose of travel. The app will create a free customized packing and luggage checklist for you. The application takes into account whether you are travelling for pleasure or for business.

4. AirBnB

Checking for places where you can stay during the entire trip does not have to be stressful. All that you need is to check the AirBnB application. This marketplace app allows users to search for and find unique accommodations at several places all over the world. Whether you are looking for a single room, an apartment, a family room or an entire house to rent, you will certainly find it at AirBnB. Before booking, make sure that you read the reviews of the people who have stayed there.

5. Spotify

If you love music as much as I do, then Spotify is something that you must install in your phone. With this application, you can create your own playlist and download the songs enabling you to listen to them even if you do not have an internet connection (feature available only for Premium users). Always remember that going on road trips or flying to new destinations can be quite stressful. However, if you have a good playlist on your phone, you can just keep calm and relax.

There are only three weeks left for my Summer 2016. I want to make the remaining summer days more fun and exciting which is why I have already planned all my trips so expect me to be always out of town for the next few weeks. Anyway, for summer picks, I'm thinking of getting a pair of Sperry topsiders from ZALORA. I want to be more comfortable yet fashionable on all my summer trips for this year.
