With two Bank Holidays and a week-long half term school break, May is a popular time to chase the sun on a Springtime getaway. If you’re one of the lucky ones escaping our unpredictable weather for blue skies and sunshine, here’s what tops, dresses, shoes and accessories to cram in your case:

We did it again! The Davao Bloggers Society had another successful and fun-filled Acquaintance Party last May 16, 2015 at The White House Fusion Cuisine and Wine Lounge. If you have been following my DBS-related posts, you are already aware it is an annual event usually celebrated during the summer season where bloggers from the different places in Davao region gather in one place to get in touch, bond and re-connect with one another. I'm proud to say that The Coffee Chic is one of the officers who organized this year's acquaintance party. My co-officers and I are overwhelmed by the responses and support we got from both the bloggers and our dear sponsors.

Coffee has been both praised and mocked for centuries. It has been blamed to cause impotence and sleeplessness and at other times a cure for laziness or a cause for happiness. Whatever the reason, people love their daily dose of caffeine and that is why it is the most widely consumed beverage across the globe.

You’re finally moving into your very own place. You won’t have to worry about parents trying to enforce the same rules you had in middle school or yelling at you to clean up your room. You won’t have to worry about roommates eating all of your food or borrowing your stuff without asking and finally, finally, things will stay where you put them. It’s a time to be happy! And excited! And, if we’re being honest, it’s also a time to freak out a little bit.
Being on your own for the very first time is really scary. Yes, there is a lot of freedom that comes with having a place that is just yours. At the same time, suddenly the only person who can be held responsible for everything is you. Yikes!

The dark days are over.
I’m back on track and everything in my life is falling back again to its right places. The first month of 2015 was beyond perfection. Almost all things worked out the way I wanted them to be but somewhere along the way, I found myself lost. Suddenly, my priorities started to change. Worse, it took me a long time to realize that I was no longer on the right path. February was a so-so month – there were happy and gloomy days. March was a complete struggle. I felt like things were falling apart – I stopped my online work, I became bored with blogging and I lost my interest in studying. The last blow came when my Tatay died on the second week of April. He was my mom’s only brother whom I have considered, since the beginning of time, as my second father. I was devastated but no one knew.
Cliche as it may sound but it seemed like the world has completely turned its back on me. Of course, no one close to me noticed that I was in pain --- that I was struggling. There were nights when I couldn't sleep thinking about random stuff. In fact, a part of my story was shared on The Struggle in Most Nights.

Air Asia Philippines invited some Davao Bloggers for their #EatFlyBlog event at Azia Suites, Cebu city. The Coffee Chic is one of the bloggers who flew to the Queen City of the South to attend the said event where the airline company announced that their #AirAsiaHotMeals are already available 35,000 feet above the ground. During the launching ceremony, we were able to catch up with the other bloggers from Cagayan de Oro and Cebu. We also had an opportunity to meet some of the team behind Air Asia who are undeniably accommodating.
