I am a firm believer of the law of attraction which is why I love talking about happy things, thoughts, circumstances and individuals. I feel more alive whenever I read happy stories or see happy people. The Mix of Coffee and Modafinil to Turbocharge You

Do you want to become more energetic that you usually are? Do you want to find the perfect mix that will make you accomplish a lot of things in a short period of time? And most importantly, are you interested in increasing your energy levels without doing much? If you answered yes to all these questions, then this article is definitely for you. Make sure to read the rest of the article to find out how coffee and modafinil can help you turbocharge for the day.

How Coffee Can Keep You Up All Day

We all know that the most important component in coffee is caffeine. Every type of coffee has different levels of caffeine on it, which is why it is important to know your dosage for this drink. Too much coffee can actually be bad for you. On the other hand, insufficient amount of caffeine intake can also do no good for your health.

It was in the early 17th century when the people in England discovered all the positive effects of coffee. From there, the popularity of caffeine was spread all through out the world. Nowadays, you can see coffee houses in every corner of the city. There is a high demand of this beverage due to the advantages it can provide to its consumers. Among which are as follows:

  • It contains many antioxidants that are responsible in repairing damage to neurons in the brain. As a result, it makes coffee-drinkers more intellectually stimulating.
  • Study also shows that it is a cure for Parkinson’s disease. The moderate consumption of coffee can heal this illness. Another study also proves that caffeine can lead to lowering the risk of liver cancer.
  • Most importantly, caffeine is considered as good for the heart.

However, there are also some known disadvantages for drinking coffee such as the following:

  • As already mentioned above, too much intake of caffeine can lead to adverse health effects. It may result to dehydration arising from the lack of fluids in the body.
  • At the same time, it can also result to an increase in anxiety. Consumers are more likely to feel nervous compared to those who are not taking coffee. Another side effect is that it can lead to mood swings and jitteriness.

Modafinil Is Perfect For Boosting Energy Levels

A smart drug is also famous for offering instant energy boosts to several users all over the world. This drug is known as modafinil which is considered as one of best smart drugs available in the market. This item is not something that you can buy easily on drugstores. This is why you really need to know where to buy provigil in Canada. The easiest way to get an access to this is to buy modafinil from a trusted online shop.

Just like coffee, modafinil also has the ability to keep you up all day. It has been shown that this drug offers the same advantages that coffee or caffeine provides. However, these known benefits are stronger and even more effective. Another proven advantages of taking modafinil are as follows:

  • It increases the cognitive functions of the brain. This is the primary reason why modafinil has a high demand to students and high-level executives. Whenever you need a kick-me upper for an exam or intellectual activity, then this is omething that you need take.
  • The side effects for modafinil are also kept low. The users will not experience any headache at all.

The only disadvantage of this product is that there is quite a complex way of getting it. You need to be aware of the trusted suppliers before ordering your modafinil. Aside from this, there are no other negative or adverse effects of taking this smart drug.

So, which is which?

It is highly recommended that you take modafinil early in the morning. Its effects are more long lasting compared to caffeine. The money that you will spend for this drug will definitely be worth it compared to what you will pay for a cup of coffee. Take note that coffee may boost your energy levels but the effects may start to decline right away. If you really want to turbocharge for a particular day, you can add caffeine to your intake of modafinil. Just make sure to drink it in the afternoon. As a rule, prioritize taking modafinil

My Parisian Tour in the Most Luxurious and Chic Places of the Capital

To be in Paris is, in principle, to be in one of the most glamorous places on earth. Known as the City of Lights, it attracts a huge number of tourists who come to visit its many attractions. For others, Paris equates to luxury and style. My experience in Paris is just one of the best and here are some of the things I enjoyed that I’m sure you will, too!

Drive in Paris
While most people might prefer to use the public transportation system to navigate the city, I decided to rent a luxury car in Paris though the site Primerent and made my own itinerary because I enjoy driving. Instead of hopping on and off a tourist bus, I found it enjoyable to go anywhere I wanted, anytime. On the other hand, if you don’t particularly like the idea of having to navigate the city on your own, you can also opt to hire chauffeured services so you can relax and enjoy the sights as you pass along the important and beautiful spots. If you are with your love one, relax and enjoy the ride as your chauffeur brings you to the most romantic places – by the Seine, the Eiffel Tower, or hopping from one museum to the next.

Dine at the Bateaux Mouches
What else can be more romantic and luxurious than cruising down the Seine and enjoying a sumptuous French dinner and sipping on delightful French wine? I wanted so much to experience the thrill of cruising down the Seine so I decided to get on board the Bateaux-Mouches! As we passed by the most prestigious monuments of the city, I was enthralled by how beautiful Paris truly is. It was an amazing experience to watch all those elegant buildings as well as the mesmerizing Eiffel Tower all lighted up. It was one of the most amazing combinations of wonderful gastronomic and romantic experience!

Attend a Performance
Why not do something different and go see a performance at the Palais Garnier? It can be an opera, a ballet, a concert or a recital – whatever your preference, it can be both a historical and entertaining experience to do in Paris. For me, I chose to go see a ballet. There is nothing quite like it, to see a live performance in such an opulent venue, with the Grand Stairway and the Grand Foyer stunningly amazing. I felt transported back into Paris’s high society centuries ago! Book your ticket and expect to have one of the most amazing experiences of a lifetime!

Shop for Vintage Clothes
I like vintage clothes and items and it is quite thrilling for me to be able to find a treasure among all the items. I enjoy looking for items that are no longer available in shops, so I go treasure-hunting in the hopes of finding something unique, something beautiful, something iconic. In Paris, I especially enjoyed hopping from one boutique to the next. Didier Ludot for haute couture items and little black dresses from the 1920s, Gabrielle Geppert for shoes, jewelry, bags by Hermès, Chanel or Louboutin, and Yukiko for designer silk scarves, wallets, handbags and other accessories to die for.

"Husay and Malasakit" in Everything We Do

If there's one gift that you could give to the world, what would it be? If you can make other people's lives better, how would you do it? What are the things that you are willing to give up just to make other individuals smile and experience happier lives? Are you willing to offer yourself to be of service to the community? To the people surrounding you? Most importantly, can you give without expecting anything in return?

Mother Theresa, a selfless woman who has spent her life helping those who are in need, once said "At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many great things we have done. We will be judged by ‘I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was naked and you clothed me, I was homeless and you took me in.’ Hungry not only for bread — but hungry for love. Naked not only for clothing — but naked for human dignity and respect. Homeless not only for want of a room of bricks — but homeless because of rejection." Imagine a world where everyone acts like Mother Theresa, devotes one's life to serving other people, sharing one's life with the community and giving whatever one has wholeheartedly. For sure, the world will be a better place to live in. There would be peace and happiness in our minds. Everyone will live in harmony, love and compassion.

Planning a Secure Financial Future for Your Family

We all want a secure future for our family and key to this is financial planning. Most of us have a weekly or monthly budget in place, and know that if we stick to the budget there will be enough money in the bank to cover the bills.

Holidays, Christmas, car repairs and things like the kid’s school uniforms are also normally budgeted for and many people save for these items. However, many of us do not have any money in reserve for unexpected events like serious illness, the loss of a job or the death of a close family member – only 38% of people say they can afford to cover an expense like this. These events cause a lot of pain, stress and heartache, which is often made far worse because of the added financial pressure.

Why it’s important to make plans now

Nobody wants to think about worst-case scenarios, so there is a tendency for people not to put the necessary measures in place to help them to cope financially. This is understandable and only natural.

However, ignoring the possibility is not a wise approach, especially when it is relatively easy to make sure that your family has the money they need to cope. For most people, the best approach is to take out insurance to provide coverage in the event of a job loss, serious illness or a death in the family.

Meet Sammy Snooze and Let's #WakeUpSammy

Sleep is one of the things I value in my life. I seldom get a chance to enjoy a good sleep due to the demands of my studies, work and personal life. There are just so many activities to do and attend to every single day. In fact, I even consider sleep as a luxury and a gift. It’s not something that I can easily get and this is the reason why I envy Sammy.

Who is Sammy? Well, he is known as the sleepiest man in the Philippines. One of my friends shared about this guy, which made me interested in him. I learned that he loves sleeping a lot to the point that he misses some important appointments, meetings and events in his life. There’s no question that his most favorite part of the day is the time when he is asleep.

In case you want to learn more about him, you can add him on facebook: Sammy Snooze. Here’s a photo of him and his dog named Snoozy. Just like his master, Snoozy also loves to sleep a lot. Yes, a lot.

A Single Lady's Prayer (Happiness and Love)

Lord, I thank you for everything that you have given me. Thank you for the gift of happiness and peace in my heart. It always amazes me how Your works do wonders. I once got my heart broken and never thought that I would be able to get out of it alive. I was torn into pieces but Your love helped me survive it all. You made me believe that everything was just passing and that things will get better someday. And yes, it eventually did.

Thank you for the gift of friends and loved ones who have been making my days brighter. Thank you for giving me these lovely people in my life who have never given up on me. I know that there are times when I’m not a great person to be with but they have stayed by my side no matter what. They are always there to back me up and to support me in whatever I do. For all these, I am truly grateful.

I live by gratitude. If there are two words that I would like to say and hear every single day, it is “Thank You.” These words mean a lot especially when they are spoken and delivered sincerely. In the latest advertisement by Coca-Cola Philippines, they did a great job in showing how great it is to live by gratitude in our daily lives. Allow me to share this to you:

After watching this 3-minute video, I start to remember all the people whom I am truly thankful of in my life. I am inspired to let them know that I appreciate everything they’ve done for the past few years of my existence. I believe that they deserve more than a thank you from me.

Will Grayson, Will Grayson: What A Beautiful Book

There is always that feeling of sadness everytime I come to the last page of a good book. Most of the times, I refuse to accept the fact that the story has finally come to an end. All I could do is just move on, hold the beautiful memories of the characters and their stories in me, and probably blog about it (like what I'm currently doing). The recent novel I've finished reading was "Will Grayson, Will Grayson" written by two of the best-selling authors David Levithan and John Green.

This book is full of happy, heartbreaking, and funny moments. Everything in it was written beautifully. The story is about two different men who happen to have the same first name and last name. They both come from different worlds until one day, their paths crossed in Chicago and found their worlds completely colliding. From that moment on, both of their lives changed forever in ways they could never have guessed or imagined. Aside from the two Will Graysons, some of the characters that made this book interesting are Tiny Cooper and Jane. In fact, I even consider the novel as mostly about Tiny Cooper and his idealistic views in life and love (which amazingly are true and something I also believe into.)

You know what made me love this book? The fact that it's all about appreciating life, love and all the great people surrounding us. Will Grayson, Will Grayson made me appreciate more all my gay friends. At the same time, it also made me put more value to the real friends surrounding me. Indeed, friendships are one of the best things in life! Most importantly, it showed me the importance of looking at life at the most positive way possible. From now on, I'm going to think like Tiny Cooper - Will Grayson's best friend / will grayson's lover.

The Magical Feeling of Giving Back Wholeheartedly: Children's Day 2014 Story

“Kindness is a magical spell—performed by enlightened beings—meant to enchant hearts and lift weary souls that they might fly.” ― Richelle E. Goodrich

It's never too late to share my happy and magical feelings during the Children's Day 2014 celebrated last month. Due to my crazy-hectic-no-break-overwhelming schedule for the past few weeks, I was not able to blog about this annual activity hosted and arranged by one of my fellow Davao Bloggers Society officers - Naprey Almario. In some of my posts in this site, I made mention that Naprey is the "The Man Behind the Rolling Chair." He writes about his advocacy for the PWD sector in the community. At the same time, he also constantly organizes charity events for different orphanages in Davao city. (Read: 4th Back to School Gift Giving Project by a Strong Wheeled Advocate)

Being A Financially Independent Modern Woman

The Importance Of Getting Your House In Order

No, this isn’t a description of your actual dwelling. The phrase “getting your house in order” has to do with the entire spectrum of what defines you financially, residentially, and relationally. Finances can be much more protective than your actual house.

Relationships, meanwhile, are a core component of facilitating true independence. So to understand finances fully, you need to get your mind around this reality. First let’s examine the relationship between capital and debt. You can have both at once; that’s what a loan will do to you.

Oftentimes people have the ability to spend, and so think they’ve got assets, or are making money. In reality, if you have any debt at all, your assets are severely limited. The best way to look at it might be on a number line. Below zero, you’ve gone negative. Above it, you’re in the clear.

To be independent, you need to get in the clear. You need to resolve your debt as expediently as possible. Doing that involves curtailing your spending and working more. Additionally, you could divide the burden of the debt with additional assistance. Be advised, going into partnership with anyone has its own benefits and challenges.

Tangential Benefits

Financial independence is something which is more swiftly facilitated through relationships in business, and this is often true when it comes to personal finance as well.

However, when finances are involved in any relationship, they can act as a strain. It would be foolish to establish a partnership, relationship, or other conjoined effort with another individual solely for the resolution of your own debt.

That said, many hands make light work. Sometimes debt can be worked off occupationally. You may find an employer willing to help you to resolve your debt more quickly provided you become a more integral quotient of operations. You can also refinance your debt through varying agencies; but these can sometimes only defray the issue.

Residential Sale

If you visit the Debt Academy site, you can find information pertaining to debt, and how to overcome it. One thing you may find yourself considering as you explore debt resolution solutions pertains to selling your residence. If you’ve been paying a mortgage on a home and sell it, what you’ve paid in could ultimately cover your debt.

Selling a note, trust deed, commercial mortgage note, real estate contract, land contract, or mortgaged deed, can get you the funds you require when you taking your mortgage note to market. You can find more here regarding mortgage note sales.

From there, if you begin renting you may be able to gradually build yourself into an independent entity; but that’s going to take time. Another shortcut involves living in an RV for a year or two.

You can get motorhomes for under $5k—it’s a bit of a project to maintain, but you can likely save several thousand annually over rental; and sell the RV when you’re finished. Eventually you’ll have got enough to buy a new home.

The best way to be financially independent is to involve yourself in a close human relationship designed for perpetuity. Split the cost of housing, share expenses, and have security. The argument against this screams “independence!”; but the truth is that sometimes individual freedom is greater with security than uncertainty. Whatever your choice, there are many options open to you today.

3 Tips To Help Your Best Friend Have The Perfect Wedding Day

Is your best friend about to tie the knot? Think about all the ways you can participate in the organization for the big day. Not only can you help her prepare for this amazing life event, you’ll also need to get ready for the big day yourself.

But the job doesn’t end there. You can do a lot during the wedding celebration to ensure your friend enjoys every moment of it. Let’s take a look at some wonderful tips to help you help your best friend during her special day and after.

1. Be Available To Hold The Bride’s Dress When She Has To Go To The Bathroom

This important job is something that only women can understand. You have to be available to help the bride by holding her dress when she has to go to the bathroom. This is a big responsibility and one that you should take seriously. You do not want the bride to be stuck without assistance, feeling frustrated when she should be over the moon. Or what’s worst, you don’t want her to ruin the wedding dress trying to put it back on herself and avoiding taking pictures throughout the celebration.

2. Make Sure She Doesn’t Get Out Of Control And Drink Too Much On Her Wedding Day

A wedding is obviously a time for celebration and the bride certainly deserves to have a few drinks on her big day. But she does not need to get so inebriated that she makes a fool out of herself. After spending so much time planning the perfect wedding, it would be a real shame if she were to mess it up by getting way too drunk and out of hand.

So, do your best to keep an eye on the bride throughout the wedding reception. It may seem like overkill, but the bride will thank you. Sure, she’l want to be the talk of the town but not in that sense.

3. Help The Bride And Groom Plan The Perfect Honeymoon

After they finally tie the knot, the newly minted bride and groom will want to be whisked away to the perfect honeymoon vacation destination. Some happy couples enjoy spending time on the beach and feel it’s the perfect place to go to get away from it all. Staying at Princess Bayside in Ocean City is an excellent option. Or they may want to go to beaches in Florida, Hawaii, or the Caribbean. Talk it over with the bride and groom and find out which location they’re interested in the most.

Soon to be married couples need to think about their budget while planning their honeymoon getaway. Sometimes it’s better to stay as close to home as possible if money is a factor. So even though you may want to spend time in the Bahamas or really expensive hotels in the Caribbean or even Europe, keep in mind that honeymoons are expensive and remind the bride and groom that it’s okay to take their first trip as a married couple to one of the local vacation destination hotspots instead.

Please use these expert tips to help your best friend plan ahead for her big day and her life afterward. She’ll be so happy to know that she can count on you during this stressful time in her life.

Is Coffee Good or Bad For Your Brain?

Caffeine in coffee is what has an impact on brain function. A typical cup of coffee has 75-100 mg of caffeine.  That amount is enough to increase attention and alertness which is because adenosine receptor is affected.  Normally, adenosine attaches to this receptor, thereby acting as a central nervous system depressant. It supresses arousal and promotes a feeling of tiredness.

Top Reasons Why You Should Start Cooking More From Scratch!

More people than ever are eating out rather than cooking meals at home. They are also buying ready meals which they can conveniently cook in the oven. But you need to start cooking more from scratch as it’s so rewarding and has many health benefits. Here are some of the top reasons why you should start cooking more from scratch.

Cooking is a great way to destress

One of the top reasons why you should start cooking more at home from scratch is that it’s a great way to destress. You will be concentrating on preparing the food so it will stop you from worrying about other problems. It’s really rewarding when you see the final product, and you will enjoy eating the food a lot more. You could also cook for your friends and enjoy a meal with them. I talked previously about how de-stressing it is to enjoy some great food with some friends.

According to the Department of Tourism (DOT), around 4.68 million foreigners visited the country in 2013 which showed a 9.56% increase in foreign visitors arrival. The increase can be attributed to the various tourism campaigns launched by the DOT. The latest successful campaign launched by the DOT was "It's More Fun in the Philippines" which invites travelers around the world to explore the beauty of the country.

There are many fun things that one can do in the Philippines. One can enjoy extreme watersports or epic parties at Boracay Island. One can also choose to be one with nature by visiting Coron and exploring its natural beauty. A tourist can also go to Baguio city and see the old playground of the Americans in the 1900's. Ilocos Norte can also be a visitor's favorite for this province showcases the rich Filipino culture. The Enchanted River and Tinuy-an Falls in Surigao are perfect for a traveler who just wants to appreciate what nature has to offer. Indeed, it's more fun in the Philippines!

Project 365: Slicing Out a Moment and Freezing It Through Photographs

I can't believe how fast time flies! We've already spent six happy, gloomy, exciting, blessed and *insert any feeling* months of the year 2014. That means that we only have less than 180 days left before we welcome another year, perhaps a new chapter, in our lives...

On the 31st of December 2013, I shared about my bucketlist for 2014 among which were "3. Complete the photo-a-day project for the whole year" and "4. Create a new blog." So I'm publishing this new entry on my site to proudly announce that I have already created a new blog entitled "Life and Love in 365" for my photo-a-day project. It's a Tumblr blog where all my daily snapshots are uploaded. As of now, I am already on my 186th photo. Ever since I started doing Project 365, I begin to notice all the things going on with my everyday life. The said project allowed me to take notice of the small details and little things that truly matter. Indeed, “Taking pictures is savoring life intensely, every hundredth of a second.”

Exciting Baby Showers

Summer is the perfect season for parties, get-togethers and events. It is the time of the year when organizing events is easy considering the fact that Mr. Sun is always around. There will be no problems about the weather condition. Thus, outdoor parties are made possible. Aside from this, it's also easy to invite people during summer. The reason behind this is because they have more extra time allotted to engage in leisure activities  Their minds are conditioned to enjoy quality time with their friends, family members and new acquaintances.

#WonderfulMindaNOW: Top 10 Must-Visit Restaurants and Cafes in Davao

In my previous post entitled "#LifeIsHere: Exploring the Beauty of Davao in 10 Days", I expressed my plan of going around the different places in our city to search for the best spots that truly make Mindanao a wonderful place to live in. The 10-day adventure I mentioned in the said blog entry was part of the #WonderfulMindaNOW project spearheaded by Globe. This project aims to spark the youth's pride for Mindanao and ignite their desire to "live in the now".

I'm going to share to you my list of the Top 10 Must-Visit Restaurants and Cafes in Davao City (in no particular order).

Red Corner Burger Cafe

"Smokin Joe Frazier of Red Corner Burger Cafe. ❤️ 1/2 pound 100% beef charboiled juice patty served with fresh lettuce and tomato on an oatmeal bun... Topped with cheese sauce, caramelized onions, sautéed mushroom, country fried bacon and drizzled with smokey barbeque sauce."

The Story of My Never-To-Be-Forgotten Summer

The Story of My Never-To-Be-Forgotten Summer

I guess today is the right time to say that summer 2014 was the best summer season of my life. Yes, there is no exaggeration on this statement. Now that class will officially start on Tuesday, I can't help but feel mixed emotions about "school starting" and "summer ending." First of all, I am completely happy knowing that I was able to enroll again in Ateneo Law School for academic year 2014-2015. This means that I have taken another step towards my goal of becoming a lawyer. At the same time, this also means that my sweet summer has come to an end. Gone are the days when I can easily say "yes" to out of town trips, drinking nights, partying days and beach dates without thinking about cases to read, provisions to memorize and law to understand. So here I am, left with no choice but to say "Goodbye Summer!" and shout "Hello New Semester."

The Fault in Our Stars Movie Quotes

One of the best feelings in the world is falling in love with the right person especially when you least expect it. It feels great to meet someone who shares the same interests with you, who makes you feel happy when your world has turned upside down and who gives you more reasons to be grateful for every single day in your life. The worst feeling of all is knowing that the time you share with the one you love is only a borrowed time. One day, you wake up and realize that your love story is only short-lived. Sooner or later, the one you love has to leave not by choice but by fate. You may feel that time is a slut for screwing you, your lover and your beautiful love story. Nevertheless, you still feel happy and thankful that you have spent forever with him within the numbered days.

My Love From Another Star: Not Your Ordinary "Kilig" Love Story

Have you experienced getting sleepless nights just to finish watching a newly found TV series? It happens that your friend gave you a copy of a Korean television series, you started watching it, got hooked on the characters' stories and before you knew it, you can't stop watching every episode... So in less than three days, you've seen the entire series. That's the story of my life for the past 72 hours. To be honest, I was not expecting that My Love From Another Star would catch my attention. Just when I least expected it, I fell in love with the characters of Cheong Song Yi and Doo Min Joon.

If you are a constant visitor of my blog, you are well aware that I'm not a big fan of korean tv series. Don't get me wrong. It's not that I don't like them but because I find it weird reading the subtitle while hearing the actors speak their native language. Yes, it sure does require some effort to watch this kind of series. One blink and I might miss an important line from the characters. I believe that My Love From Another Star is the exception.

This series is about an alien who landed on Earth in the Joseon Dynasty (ancient time in Korea). Do Min Joon was not able to go back to his planet so he had to live on Earth and wait for "the comet" to come back after 400 years. During the modern era, when he only had three months left on the planet, he met a famous celebrity in the name of Cheong Song Yi. They are the complete opposite of one other. Do Min Joon is a silent, decent and reserved man while Cheong Song Yi is a loud, arrogant and confident woman.

Maybe This Time: Waiting For This Magic Moment

Spoiler Alert: Do not read if you are still planning to watch the movie within the next few weeks. Thank you!

The lyrics of the song goes "And even time hasn't cooled the flame, it's burnin' even brighter than it did before. It got another chance, and if they take it... Maybe this time, it'll be lovin' they'll find. Maybe now they can be more than just friends. She's back in his life and it feels so right. Maybe this time, love won't end." We have experienced or know someone who have gone through the pain of losing the right love just because it was not yet the right time. Some people call it the right love at the wrong time. In this situation, two lovers are bound to take different paths away from each other. Not even their love can make them stay and no matter how hard they try to be together, they just can't. They have no choice but to patiently wait for the right time or at least hope that it will come soon.

Spending Cold Summer Days at the City of Pines

Summer is the perfect season to rest, to have fun and to enjoy special moments without thinking of all school or work-related stuff. During this season, we are free (or at least have a license) to do whatever we want. We can go to the beach, go out of town, visit new places, experience new adventures or do any other fun activities. For our family, we have decided to spend summer 2014 and my mom's birthday celebration at the City of Pines. The days we spent at Baguio were truly amazing and meaningful. It felt good to go on vacation with the people I love at such a beautiful city.

Right after my dad arrived from Papua New Guinea, we directly headed to Baguio city. We had to take the bus in order to reach the place since my mom does not want to ride the van. We reached the city at around 5PM so we checked in at our hotel first and took our dinner. We toured around Baguio the next day and the first place we visited was the Kennon Road View.

Why You Need to Throw a Party!

Do you feel that you need a reason to party? If, like most people, you only ever wait until it is your birthday or a special time of year before you throw a good old-fashioned party, you are seriously missing out.

Throwing a party is easier than you think. You can use Adobe Spark to create free printable party invitations or post on social media. Of course, you have a ready-made excuse if you are turning 30, 40, or your decree absolute came through, but have you considered it is good to party just for the sheer fun of getting together with friends and loved ones?

Revenge Season 3 Finale: Was It Just A Dream?

Do not scroll down. Spoiler alert!

The people who will have an interest in reading this post are those who are caught up (and can't move on) from the season finale of Revenge. Viewers and fans, like me, have many questions about the deaths of certain characters, the unexpected turn out of events and the appearances of old faces. The number one question is "What happens next?"

We all know who died. The question is, "What will happen on the next season?"
© Revenge ABC Facebook Page

The last three minutes of the season 3 finale brought so much thrill and suspense for everyone. Jack Porter was arrested for the abduction of Charlotte, Daniel Grayson is about to be framed for a girl's death, Condrad Grayson was stabbed by David Clarke (Yes. How did it happen? So DC was alive the whole time? Is he really a bad guy? Where did he go and what did he do?), Victoria was locked up in a mental institution and Emily Thorne (aka the real Amanda Clarke) was ready for another plan. (But what plan? Now that Aiden Matis is dead, what will happen to next?)

Overwhelming Happiness and Gratitude for My Birthday

"Gratitude" is probably the most-used word in my vocabulary. I always speak of it whenever I am with my friends, family and other special persons in my life. I also use it as a hashtag in almost all the photos I post in my social networking accounts. At the same time, "gratitude" is what I write about in my blog posts. The reason for this is because there are just so many things in my life that I am truly grateful of. Every single day, I find amazing circumstances, great experiences and lovely people to be thankful of. And this time, I am grateful for another year and chapter in my life. Two days ago, on May 8, 2014, I celebrated my birthday with the people who has always been there for me since the beginning of time and the same people who have shared their lives with me.

“Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy;
they are the charming gardeners
who make our souls blossom.” ― Marcel Proust

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Movie Lines

"What makes life valuable is that it doesn't last forever... What makes it precious is that it ends." This is my favorite quote from one of the major characters in the movie The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The said line was part of Gwen Stacy's speech during her graduation. As you all know, she is the love interest of Peter Parker aka spider-man. In this post, you will not be reading a review of the latest installment of The Amazing Spider-Man trilogy but rather another compilation of movie lines.

Let’s Ask Diego with Anything Under the Sun

There are many reasons to be proud of being a Filipino. One of the characteristics which make Filipinos exceptional is our positive outlook in life despite the adversities that we encounter. In the past few years, we have witnessed how different typhoons devastated some places in the Philippines. Many of our fellowmen lost their homes, properties, families and their lives. However, after everything they've been through, we can still see them smile as they face their problems. Another reason to take pride of being a Filipino is our ability to be generous to other people. Filipinos are always known to their helping hands to those who are in need. And the most special trait that I love about Filipinos is our close family ties. We always share a deep love and connection with our families. In fact, our families have always been (and will always be) our top priority.

PLDT, the number one home broadband, knows how each and everyone of us value our family. So they are bringing the chance to enjoy “Limitless sharing with the strong reliable family-sized connection."

4th Back to School Gift Giving Project by a Strong Wheeled Advocate

It's that time of the year again for Back to School Gift Giving Project.

This project is spearheaded by a good friend of mine and a fellow Davao Blogger officer, Naprey Almario. He blogs at Behind the Rolling Chair where he talks about his advocacy to a barrier-free environment for the persons with disabilities. Some of the successful charity events he had were Children's Day (for the benefit of Balay Pasilungan, Padre Pio's Home for Children and Providence Home of St. Joseph) and Dinner for A Cause (for the benefit of  the Providence Home of St. Joseph). Naprey is also one of the bloggers who helped in repacking the goods for the victims of Typhoon Yolanda under the Bloggers for Relief's Project Hygiene Kits. He is also known as the Strong-Wheeled ex-PBB housemate of Pinoy Big Brother House.

Loving the Kings of Summer: Why Live When You Can Rule

The nice thing about keeping great movies in your external hard drive and bringing it anywhere you go is that you can always turn your laptop on to see a random film. Just like what happened earlier as I tried so hard to study for a final exam which I will be taking in just two hours. I was reading a transcription of our past lectures when I felt that I needed to take a break so I opened my "Happiness :)" drive and searched for available movies. Then, I stumbled upon the "Kings of Summer," a 2013 movie. To be honest, I decided to watch it just because the title sounds interesting and it has the word "summer" on it.

Budget Travel In Style: Is It Really Possible?

Having the freedom to travel in the way we do now is one of modern life's true blessings. So much can be learned and gained from travel - whether you feel the need to 'find yourself' on a remote island, or whether you want to spend a summer partying with new found friends in a metropolitan city. Getting halfway across the world has never been easier thanks to the intricate network of planes that service our skies - and it's a well-known fact that air travel is the safest form of travel there is, too.

In fact, it is quite hard to imagine a world where we couldn't just hop on a plane and be in an entirely new destination in a matter of hours. This revolution, paired with the fact that the travel sector as a whole is ever expanding, means that more and more of us are getting the opportunity to experience every part of our world.

#DBSParty2014: I Will Always Love My Davao Bloggers Family

Blogging has brought many good things and people in my life. When I started blogging, all I ever wanted was to share about random stuff - topics which really interest no one but me. Even if I had no readers back then or no friend from the blogging community, I was happy. And I became happier when I met awesome people in the blogosphere. To be honest, I was not expecting that great relationships and deep friendships can be formed via the online community. I became the happiest when I discovered Davao Bloggers Society (DBS), the official blogging organization in our city.

At first, I was hesitant to join DBS knowing that I had little knowledge or expertise when it comes to blogging. All I do is write whatever comes into my mind. I know nothing about SEO or even tweaking my own blog layout. But DBS accepted me with open arms. The people on it taught me many things (not only about blogs but also about being positive all the time) and showed me that there is more to blogging. I can clearly remember that my first DBS event was in 2011 - the Davao Bloggers: Black and White Christmas Ball. Ever since that night, I became more active in blogging and started attending more events.

Well... time flies so fast. Now, I am already one of the officers (2014-2016) of the community. Eight other officers have been elected in the recently concluded elections of the official DBS members. I must say, I have grown with my DBS family and I couldn't be happier. All the workshops, seminars and events I've attended made me a responsible blogger and a better person.

The first major event that the new set of officers organized was the Davao Bloggers Society: Acquiantance Party 2014 (#DBSParty2014).

I'm really glad because it turned out great. So in behalf of the officers, I would like to thank all the DBS members, friends and sponsors who came at Bucket Shrimps Seafood Restaurant for the Acquaintance Party 2014. All the support we received from the generous sponsors and the presence of the bloggers, both renewing and new members, were overwhelming.

5 Ways New Online Shops Can Build Consumer Trust

The online industry is on the move. According to CNN, around 2017, 10% of the sales that the United States is going to make, will be made online. So if it’s a growing trend, what happened to the 90%? Why wouldn’t online sales go up to 20%? Or even 15%? The mobile industry is booming. There are no signs that the sales of smart phones and tablets are going down anytime soon. Even people who already own a smartphone or a tablet dispose their gadgets to buy a better one or to get the latest model. This ensures the growth potential of ecommerce. Sometime soon, everything is going to be made online.

So, going back to the question, what is keeping the 90% from buying online? The problem is people still find it hard to trust online stores. There is always an issue of security.

It is not easy to trust online stores.

Acer IT Doctors Got All The Answers to Your Tech Questions

When it comes to buying new gadgets and other devices, one of the things that we do is to research about the product we want to purchase by asking our friends and using the Internet. This is one of our ways to make sure that we will be getting the best value for our money. There are also instances when we encounter problems with our hand-held devices, computers and laptops but we have no idea where to go or what to do. Again, we ask some of our friends to solve our "tech" problems. But most of the times, we don't really get great answers from the people we ask either because they don't know much about the specification of the products or they really are not that "techie."

Luckily, global IT brand Acer understands how important it is for people to have quick solutions to their everyday tech snags and struggles as it introduces the “Acer IT Doctors.” It is  a dedicated team of IT specialists who are willing and able to serve the public for any of their IT concerns or questions. Admittedly, majority of Filipinos are not really tech savvy, much more IT experts, and would definitely need proper guidance or valuable technical assistance when it comes to matters concerning IT. This explains why the formation of the Acer IT Doctors is quite timely.

The Kind of iPad Mini Case I Deserve

When it comes to choosing the cases for my iPad, there is only one brand that I trust - The Snugg. This shop has always been great in providing chic, functional and stylish cases for my gadgets. When I had my iPad 2, the cases I use were from them. Now that I have a new iPad mini, my executive case also came from the said online shop. For the past few months, my choice always include pastel colors for the cases but this time, I have to get the gray color.

The Happiness That Comes From Flowers

Pinterest is one of my favorite apps in my phone. Whenever I'm looking for new inspiration, I just open the application and start checking the different pins of the people I follow. If I'm in need of a specific idea or craft, I simply type in the search bar what I wanted to see, hit the search button and voila, everything is right in front of me. There are also times when I feel bored so I launch Pinterest app and just browse until I start feeling good again.

Allow me to share two of my most-loved pins from my Pinterest account. The first one is the DIY Paper Flower Backdrop Tutorials.

Communication with the special persons in my life was made easy with the WeChat app in my smartphone. At the same time, Lazada has always been my favorite online store in the Philippines. Straight from their Mobiles & Tablets category, Lazada Philippines is set to roll out discounted Android tablets for 1,000 users who are following their Official Account on WeChat.

Be Fit and Feel Great with The Greene Dare

The best reward any person could give her body is a healthy lifestyle. Everyone deserves to get enough sleep, nutrients and vitamins. However, the hectic schedules and busy days prevent us from achieving a balanced and healthy lifestyle. It's a good thing that there are many alternatives and ways which can help us get the body and life we want. One of these is drinking pure and organic juices made from raw vegetables and fruits. It has been proven that juicing enables people to stay fit and feel great.

For a busy person like me, I have no time to make my own juice. To be honest, I barely have enough time to go to the grocery store or to the local market. This means that I could not prepare my own cold-pressed juice so I prefer ordering some from trusted distributors. In Davao city, one of the well-known juice seller is The Green Dare. I tried their Reboot Up Plan for my Wednesday and I must say, it made me feel better!

Sunnies by Charlie Now Open in Davao City

Sunnies by Charlie opened its first branch in Davao city at Chimes Specialty Store last March 13, 2014. One of the highlights during the opening day was the "Free Gift" given to the first 100 persons who visited their new store at the second floor of Chimes. Another important event on that day was the invite-only VIP party to celebrate the coming of an elegant, chic and sophisticated sunglasses brand in the city. The said event was followed by a meet and greet with Georgina Wilson for those who already made their purchases.
