What It Means to Share: Dinner for a Cause

"You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you."

The best feeling in this world is being able to share what we have to those who are in need. These people do not need to beg or ask something from us before we offer them the help that they deserve. As members of a community, we have to know the importance of giving back. It is our duty to share our blessings. We must learn the values of "sharing" and "selflessness."

For this, I am inviting all of you to support the Dinner for a Cause organized by one of my good friends in Davao Bloggers Society. Naprey Almario, the man behind the rolling chair, has been doing charity works for the past few years. Yes, he never stops giving back and that is the reason why I truly consider him as an inspiration.

A buffet dinner will be served at Helen's Kitchen (Buhagin, Davao city) on November 15, 2013. Proceeds for this Dinner for a Cause will go to the Providence Home of St. Joseph. The Providence Home of St Joseph Inc. is an orphanage located in Tugbok, Davao City which caters to neglected, abandoned and orphaned children.

I really hope that we can all support this event. For tickets, please comment on this post or text me at 0905-321-7535.

Always remember, "Happiness doesn't result from what we get, but from what we give."

  1. Sharing a dinner for a cause for me is a very wonderful idea to gather more sponsors and donations for a cause. I love joining events for a cause because we enjoy the moment at the same time, help someone else for that money gained from the event.

  3. I assume that it's better to give than to received and share your blessing to those who are in need. I do believe that if we do that, we can help each other and have a better place to live.
